One of the driving forces behind the Italian tanning and footwear machinery manufacturers’ association, Amilcare Baccini, has died. Mr Baccini was 73 and had been ill for several months.

He was influential in the setting up of the association, Assomac, in 1982 and was central to the running of the organisation until retiring in September 2019.
