Tanners’ association extends helping hand to hospitals

An Italian tanners’ association has been raising money to supply local hospitals with protective equipment and machinery, to help with the coronavirus pandemic.
L’Associazione Conciatori, based in Italy’s tanning district Santa Croce, worked with a number of local hospitals to raise money, and 5,000 masks have already been delivered.
The fundraising continues, and hospitals will soon take delivery of machinery bought with funds raised by the tanners.
