2020 SLTC conference postponed until September
The UK’s Society of Leather Technologists and Chemists (SLTC) has become the latest industry organisation to be forced into changes to its plans for the coming weeks because of the coronavirus.
It said on March 16 that, after careful consideration and taking advice from the various quarters with regard to Covid-19 and “the health and safety of everyone in our industry”, it had made the decision to postpone the 2020 SLTC annual conference and dinner scheduled for April the 25 in Northampton.
SLTC said its aim is to re-schedule the event for September 19, with Northampton still the venue. It said all current bookings would be transferred to the new date unless delegates advise it otherwise.
It will keep its industry contacts informed of any further changes to its plans.
