Companies founded on the right principles will have a better future, tanner says

A tannery director in Brazil has said he believes companies founded on good principles will have a future following the covid-19 crisis.
One of the directors of the Santa Croce tannery in Respinga in the state of São Paulo, Rodrigo Costa, made the remarks in a series of short videos that Brazilian leather industry association, CICB, has published in recent weeks.
Mr Costa said: “This has been a humanitarian crisis on a scale that none of us ever imagined we’d experience. But companies that are founded on transparency, ethics, social responsibility, companies that have some stability, are going to have some security, some prominence and some life in this new game, this new economy, this new world we are living in now.”
