SLF organisers confirm date, speakers and sanitation measures

18/06/2020

The second Sustainable Leather Forum will go ahead in Paris on September 14. The organisers have confirmed the date and have also confirmed some of the measures they will put in place on the day “to alleviate any fears about attending”.

There will be no badges and delegates will print their own tickets before the event and have them scanned at the door. The organising team will wear protective gloves and masks and all attendees will receive their own bottle of hand sanitiser and a mask upon arrival.

Hand sanitiser will also be available at all strategic points at the venue and tables in the conference hall will be cleaned between sessions. With safe-distancing requirements in mind, the number of participants will be limited.

Confirmed speakers include Kering’s sustainability director, Marie-Claire Daveu, and the president of high-end footwear brand JM Weston, Thierry Oriez.
