Richemont taps Philippe Fortunato for fashion and accessories business

Swiss luxury group Richemont has appointed Philippe Fortunato to lead its fashion and accessories business. 

Mr Fortunato has been CEO of Givenchy since 2014; he will assume his new role with Richemont in September. He succeeds Eric Vallat, who left in 2019 after only holding the role for a year. 

Richemont has also announced that Sophie Guieysse is stepping down from the senior executive committee with immediate effect. She will not stand for re-election to the board of directors at the annual general meeting in September.
