Gucci wants 100% traceability on raw materials by 2025
Using 2015 figures as a base, Gucci has set itself a target of reducing its overall environmental impact by 40% and its greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2025.
Explaining the brand’s plan to Italian media, chief executive, Marco Bizzarri, also said it wanted to have 100% traceability of its raw materials by the same year. Mr Bizzarri said Gucci would develop “innovative approaches for sustainable procurement” to meet this objective.
