Leather UK announces death of champion of sheepskin
The honorary secretary of the UK’s Real Sheepskin Association (RSA), Peter Robinson, has died.
Mr Robinson was the founder in 1971 of Easirider, a specialist supplier of bespoke sheepskin products to high-end automotive companies and their customers.
RSA formally merged with wider national trade association Leather UK a year ago. Commenting on this development, Peter Robinson said at the time: “Woolskins remain a timeless, natural, renewable, sustainable, iconic material, which has much to teach us about how we look after our endangered planet on behalf of future generations.”
On announcing the news of his death, Leather UK said Mr Robinson would be greatly missed.
