Award for second year running for Zschimmer & Schwarz
Leather chemicals group Zschimmer & Schwarz has won an award in the Axia Best Managed Companies competition in Germany for the second year running.
This is part of an international programme, run in Germany by Deloitte, business magazine Wirtschafts Woche, Credit Suisse and the Federation of German Industries. It aims to recognise excellence among small and medium-sized companies.
Candidates from a variety of industry sectors are rated by an independent jury for their performance in four core areas: strategy, productivity and innovation, culture and commitment, and governance and finance. Zschimmer & Schwarz received recognition in all four categories.
A planned ceremony in Düsseldorf was cancelled owing to restrictions imposed by the coronavirus. The prize was awarded instead at the Zschimmer & Schwarz headquarters in Lahnstein.
