ATC signs global charter
Leather chemicals manufacturer ATC has signed International Council of Chemical Associations’ global charter of Responsible Care. Responsible Care is an initiative that the ICCA set up to encourage chemicals manufacturers to develop and fulfil strong corporate social responsibility strategies.
Companies that sign the global charter commit to the safe management of chemicals throughout their lifecycle, promoting their products’ ability to help improve quality of life and contribute to sustainable development.
ATC explained that it had been involved in this initiative since last year, but that signing the charter now mean the company is “even more committed to the development of greener, more sustainable products and processes for the leather industry”.
