Kind Leather in the limelight at Lineapelle

20/02/2020

Leather manufacturing group JBS Couros used the presence at the February edition of the Lineapelle exhibition in Milan of its Italian tannery, Conceria Priante, to give prominence to its Kind Leather range.

Launched in March 2019, Kind Leather offers savings in water consumption of up to 45% compared to standard leather production, and of 42% in chemicals consumption.

At the same, Priante uses up to 20% less energy in producing leather in the new range, and it has calculated that this leather’s carbon emissions are up to 65% less. It also leads to a reduction in trimmings of up to 50%.

JBS Couros acquired Arzignano-based Conceria Priante in 2015.
