Improved spray booth among Erretre’s developments

Technology provider Erretre has launched an automatic spraying booth model that uses improved suction to clean fumes, removing the need for an external structure.

The company says the Ecotan booth offers fully opening doors and a wider carousel for a more uniform spraying coverage. The new scrubbing system includes automated washing procedures.

Operations are controlled through touchscreen and the company says it conforms to the Industry 4.0 philosophy.

Erretre, which launched the new booth at the Simac Tanning Tech show in Milan (February19 to 21), also presented its Cold Milling technology. This keeps the leather cooler inside the drum and maintains humidity, it says, which helps produce tight-grained material.

“Black Line and Cold Milling drums are also equipped with our innovative and user-friendly touchscreen control,” said the company. “All drums are ready for connection to our M.O.R.E. advanced scheduler for historical data analysis and interconnection with production-managing software to optimise technical and logistical controls.”
