Director, writer and cinematographer Cinzia TH Torrini is to present a new film she has made about artisan skills in her home city, Florence.

Leathergoods manufacturers in the city have said they hope the film will help them attract customers from all parts of the world.

The film’s premier will be in the city’s Palazzo Vecchio on July 22; its title translates as ‘Artisan skills, the riches of a city’.

In the build-up to the premier, Ms Torrini said she was convinced that, life returns to a normal footing following the restrictions imposed by covid-19 the people of Florence would appreciate “our artisans” more than ever.
