Up to 20 hides per hour is Lectra’s promise with new Versalis version
21/01/2020
Lectra said the new version is designed to maximise the efficiency of the entire production cycle, enabling manufacturers to optimise their cutting process while achieving improvements in productivity, nesting efficiency and ergonomics for faster furniture manufacturing.
It explained that the same cutting solution can be combined with several digitisation stations, enabling the production tool to process leather faster, at a rate of up to 20 hides per hour. These digitisation stations work with infrared cameras and augmented reality to allow an operator to identify hide defects virtually, without physically marking them.
