Double-digit growth for Mato Grosso beef exports

Full-year figures for 2019 show strong growth in beef exports from the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, the country’s biggest producer of beef.

Packers there exported almost 430,000 tonnes of beef in 2019, bringing in revenues of more than $1.36 billion.

These figures represent increases of 21% in volume and of 22% in value compared to 2018.
