Kate Spade chief executive to leave at year-end
Leathergoods brand Kate Spade will have a new chief executive in the new year. Parent group Tapestry announced on December 12 that the brand’s current chief executive, Anna Bakst, will leave at the end of the calendar year.

Ms Bakst joined the company in March 2018, succeeding Craig Leavitt who left the brand in 2017 following the Tapestry acquisition.

In a statement, Tapestry said it had already started its search for a successor and that chief finance officer, Joanne Crevoiserat, will take charge of Kate Spade during the interim period.
