Luxury automotive brand Aston Martin has officially opened its new factory at St Athan in Wales. The first minister of Wales, Mark Drakeford, was guest of honour at an opening ceremony on December 6.

Aston Martin will manufacture its new sports utility vehicle, the DBX, at the St Athan plant and will also become the “home of electrification” for the brand. By the second quarter of 2020, the company will have created 750 new jobs there.
