French leathergoods manufacturers have the chance to take part in a special exhibition of the country’s craftsmanship and savoir-faire. The event, La Grande Exposition du Fabriqué en France (The Great Made In France Exhibition) will take place on January 18 and 19.

President Emmanuel Macron’s official residence in Paris, the The Élysée Palace, will be the venue.

Only 101 manufacturers can take part, one representing each of the country’s metropolitan and overseas departments, and companies have until December 8 to submit an application to their local authorities.

Each local authority will put three companies’ names forward for a special selection panel to choose one representative for each department.
