Improvement project complete at TFL site in Italy

Leather chemicals manufacturer TFL has completed a six-month project to upgrade the equipment at its production site at Buscate in Italy. It achieved the upgrade without any interruption to product supply.

TFL said the project will enable it to supply higher quantities of its finishing products to customers with high safety, health and environment standards, and automated material management, leading to a reduction in packaging costs.

The changes will also mean enhanced product quality, increased reliability and productivity, reduced levels of waste, and an improved environmental footprint of TFL products, the company said.
