Prime minister to preside at leather fair opening

Bangladesh’s prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, will inaugurate the third edition of the Bangladesh Leather Footwear & Leathergoods International Sourcing Show in Dhaka on October 30.

A wide range of products will go on display at the exhibition, including bags, suitcases, briefcases, boots, shoes, sandals and sports shoes. 

The main aim of joint organisers the Leathergoods and Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh and the country’s Ministry of Commerce, is to increase the volume and value of leather-sector exports.
