Fashion Pact boosts its numbers

A further 24 companies in the fashion and textile industry have joined the Fashion Pact, which an original 32 companies signed in August when  Kering chief executive, François-Henri Pinault, presented the idea to global leaders at the G7 Summit in Biarritz.

These companies made a pledge to work towards shared goals to address climate change, biodiversity and the oceans.

New signatories include footwear groups Bally, Geox, Etam, Groupe Eram and luxury e-commerce group Farfetch. This brings the total number of signatories to 56 and the number of brands involved to around 250.
