Shoe company in Spain goes into administration

A well established firm in the footwear-making town of Elda, Paco Herrero had begun in recent years to focus on export markets.
It said that the Spanish domestic market had struggled to recover after the economic crisis of 2008 and that it would aim to send two-thirds of its production to overseas markets. However, its export efforts have been insufficient to reduce its debt levels.
