ACLE begins in Shanghai

Joint organisers APLF Limited, part of the Informa group, and the China Leather Industry Association have said they expect around 23,000 industry professionals to visit the exhibition over the three days.
They said the 2019 event was taking place against the backdrop of “a double-pronged assault” on the leather industry from the ongoing trade tensions between China and the US and from the rise, contrary to worldwide concerns about plastic waste and the consumption of non-renewable materials, in competition from synthetic substitutes.
