Collector takes Rolls-Royce bespoke colour collection to ten
Entrepreneur and car collector Michael Fux took inspiration from a bright orange wrap he saw in a boutique in Florida for his most recent bespoke Rolls-Royce car.

The Cuban-born businessman bought the accessory and sent it to automotive company’s bespoke design and colour development team at Goodwood in the south of England and invited the craftspeople there to match the colour.

The result was unveiled at the 2019 Monterey Car Week in California in mid-August, with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars chief executive, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, presenting a version of the company’s Cullinan luxury SUV model in the new colour, now labelled Fux Orange.

This is the tenth time Rolls-Royce motors has worked on a bespoke colour for Michael Fux.

Specialists in Goodwood took almost a year to complete the task, choosing an orange finish and applying by hand seven layers of it, polishing each one carefully by hand to achieve just the right shade.

In contrast, the car’s interior uses Arctic White leather. However, here too there are orange notes, in the stitching and in the Rolls-Royce monogram on the headrests.
