Northampton prepares for official opening of new leather institute

Team members from the university’s ICLT will show off the new facilities.
The new Institute for Creative Leather Technologies cost £5.5 million to build and, the ICLT has said, it will allow the university to bolster its reputation for delivering technical excellence in leather education, training and research.
The two-storey building includes a leather innovation lab, a tannery, testing and research labs, teaching space and a room available for commercial organisations to rent.
