TFL completes expansion at Brazilian plant

Leather chemicals manufacturer TFL completed an upgrade of its production plant in São Leopoldo, near Novo Hamburgo, in Brazil after five months of construction work.

Chief operating officer of the TFL Grroup, Brian Watson said at the inauguration that new technology and automation had gone into the factory. There is a new control centre and complete distributed control system to enable automated production processes.

Products TFL manufactures here include its Magnopal retanning agents and its Roda Cryl resins.
