ZDHC move confirms sustainable commitment, Trumpler says

07/08/2019
Leather chemicals manufacturer Trumpler has joined the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) programme. The company said the move “underpins its commitment to a sustainable future”.

Trumpler explained that it has been contributing to the work of the ZDHC programme, which launched in 2012 on the back of the Greenpeace Detox campaign, for a number of years. This contribution has been through Trumpler’s work with multistakeholder body the Leather Working Group and with chemical manufacturers’ association Tegewa.

It said officially becoming a value chain affiliate of ZDHC now reinforces its commitment.
