Green-fingered Pittards teams take part in Ethiopia reforestation programme

The company has a tannery at Edjersa, where it makes gloving and footwear leathers, and finished product factories in the capital, Addis Ababa, in which it manufactures gloves and footwear.
On July 29, the Pittards team managed to plant 7,500 new trees as part of a national one-day initiative to plant 200 million seedlings in a single day.
The July 29 exercise is part of a wider national reforestation campaign in which the government is planning to plant 4 billion new trees across Ethiopia.
