Buckman appoints new leather division leader

On making the announcement, chief executive, Junai Maharaj, said Mr Ramamurthy had extensive experience of the global leather landscape, adding: “He brings focus, passion and energy to our leather offerings, which will help us expand the value we provide to our customers.”
Mr Ramamurthy has a degree in leather science and has spent nearly 25 years in Buckman’s leather division, helping to expand the company’s product line. The company said this appointment shows its commitment to “understanding and adapting to the changes happening in the leather market using chemical and digital enhancements”.
