Lexus to take to the seas again

Lexus has announced that it is preparing to build a new product, the LY 650 yacht, which Wisconsin-based partner company Marquis Yachts will build, sell and service.

According to Lexus, the LY650 will pick up from a previous ocean-going venture, the Lexus Sport Yacht Concept, left off and will take its L-finesse “design language” beyond the world of automobiles.

It launched L-finesse in 2003, presenting “seamless anticipation, incisive simplicity, intriguing elegance” as its three core principles.

The first completed Lexus LY 650 is expected to make its global debut in the second half of 2019.
