Jakov Buljan receives IULTCS Merit Award for Excellence

Congress president, Dr Dietrich Tegtmeyer, and president of the International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies (IULTCS), Thomas Yu, offered an official welcome address to more than 400 delegates at the opening ceremony of the XXXV IULTCS Congress in Dresden on June 25.

At the conclusion of the evening, Jakov Buljan received the IULTCS Merit Award for Excellence in recognition of his efforts to promote leather technology, chemistry and science on a worldwide basis over many years, first in his native Croatia and, especially, during his two decades with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation.
