Minister to lead Ethiopian delegation at XXXV IULTCS Congress

An Ethiopian government minister will lead the country’s delegation at the forthcoming IULTCS Congress in Dresden.

This, the XXXV IULTCS Congress, will take place in the German city from June 25-28. The organisers have said a total of 440 delegates will attend, comprising leather scientists and researchers from universities and institutes and representatives of chemical suppliers and leather manufacturers from all parts of the world.

Germany, China and Italy will be the countries with the highest number of representatives, with 200, 59 and 49 respectively.

While Ethiopia’s delegation will be smaller, it will include the African country’s state minister for trade and industry, Teka Gebreyesus. Formerly a high-ranking representative of the Ethiopia Investment Commission, Mr Gebreyesus took up the post of minister in February 2019.
