Riccardo Boschetti reappointed president of Arzignano association

The main leather industry association in the important Italian cluster around Arzignano and Chiampo, Il Distretto della Pelle, has reconfirmed Riccardo Boschetti as its president at its annual assembly in Arzignano on June 4. He will work with a newly appointed advisory council comprising six members.

“Competence, experience, knowledge of the region and teamwork are the characteristics our council members offer,” said Mr Boschetti after the meeting. “I am grateful to the other industry associations, covering tanning, chemicals and machinery, and to our leather companies for putting such highly qualified representatives at the disposal of the Distretto.”

The six are: Adriano Boller from small business association Confartigianato, Claudio Bortolati from tanning auxiliary producers association UNPAC, Paolo De Marzi from business association Apindustria, Mauro Pellizzari from tanning machinery manufacturers’ association Assomac, Giorgio Pozza from leather chemists’ association AICC, and Luca Pretto from employers’ association Confindustria.

In addition, Claudio Bortolati and Giorgio Pozza are Distretto vice-presidents.
