Christian Louboutin shoes to go on show on his home turf
A Paris museum, le Palais de la Porte Dorée, is to host an exhibition of the work of footwear designer Christian Louboutin next year. The exhibition will run from February 25, until July 28, 2020.

Le Palais de la Porte Dorée is located in Paris’s 12th arrondisement, the district in which Christian Louboutin grew up and he was a frequent visitor to the museum in his youth. He has said that the “richness of motifs and colours” that he absorbed during these visits influenced his designs.

On show at the exhibition will be shoes from the designer’s personal collection, including a number that he regards as being among his most valuable.
