US leathergoods group Capri, formerly Michael Kors, has reported revenue of more than €1.3 billion in the fourth quarter of the financial year (three months ended March 30), an increase of 13.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The group’s full-year revenue was more than $5.2 billion, up 11% year-on-year.

In the fourth quarter, the Michael Kors brand brought in revenue of approximately €1.1 billion, a drop of 0.4% compared to the same three months of 2018.

Sales from high-end shoe brand Jimmy Choo were worth $139 million, a year-on-year increase of 28.7%.

Capri changed its name in January after completing the acquisition of Italian luxury fashion house Gianni Versace. Its new acquisition brought in revenue of $137 million during the fourth quarter. This figure exceeded Capri’s expectations of $130 million.
