Students had just 45 minutes to produce detailed sketches of their design ideas for a new James Bond car. Royal College of Art student Hui Li won the competition and a prize that included £500 in cash.
The panel of judges that chose Hui Li as the winner included senior representatives from Land Rover, Bentley Motors, Nissan, Tata Motors and SAIC Motor.
Bridge of Weir’s managing director, Karen Marshall, said: “This was a superb event, one that we were delighted to support. It has identified some future design leaders and we look forward to working with them as they advance in their careers. We pride ourselves on our close connections with the world’s best car designers. Our fine Scottish leather is the result of a unique blend of craftsmanship, advanced techniques and our relationship with leading automotive design departments.”
