Indianapolis-based upcycling not-for-profit group People for Urban Progress (PUP) has announced that a fifth batch of its leathergoods range is now ready for sale.

In the summer of 2018, passenger rail operator began a refurbishment project on the trains that it runs between Boston and Washington DC, renewing a total of more than 6,000 leather-covered seats.

PUP has been working with Amtrak since the end of last year to convert the used leather into a range of bags, including a backpack, a weekender bag and a tote handbag.
