IULTCS Congress organisers confirm cultural programme
05/04/2019
“It always broadens horizons to become familiar with the local culture of a host country and the way of thinking and living in this particular part of the world,” the organisers said. “A broader horizon stimulates new thinking.”
The cultural programme will include optional tours to see some of Dresden’s artistic and architectural heritage and a visit to the Transparent Factory that automotive group Volkswagen runs in the city.
Options include a visit to the Dresden Royal Palace, which is informally known as the Saxon Louvre because of the quality of its art collections. Other visits will be to the town of Meissen and its famous porcelain factory. There will also be a cruise on the River Elbe.
