Exhibitors welcome rise in trade visitors at Equitana
More than 40 companies offering products related to equestrian leather took part in the 2019 edition of the Equitana exhibition in Essen in mid-March. The leather sector was represented by companies selling saddles, whips and other pieces of equipment, and also boots.

Organiser, Reed Exhibitions, said overall exhibitor numbers were down by 12% compared to the previous edition in 2017, at least partly as a result of stormy weather; the total number of visitors was 183,000.

It said, however, that the number of trade visitors increased by 3% and reached a total of 33,000 this time.

The next edition of Equitana will take place in Essen in March 2021.
