Hüni takes APLF visitors on a virtual tannery tour

Using a tablet computer device, visitors could access a 3D model of a tannery, walk through the facility and learn about the equipment there in detail. This included opening and closing tannery drum doors and looking inside the drums themselves.
Hüni has developed 3D models of existing tanneries to allow the sales departments of those companies to show their factory to clients and highlight features related to their production processes and sustainability activities.
This capability can also be extended to virtual reality glasses and pointers, which allows the user to simulate working in the tannery, for example by feeding drums, preparing chemicals or loading and unloading hides.
