Brazil’s beef exports registered a new record in February. Packers across the country shipped 115,500 tonnes of beef in the course of the month, an increase of 17.4% compared to the same month last year and the highest February figure ever.

The shipments brought in revenues of $433.3 million, an increase of 10% year on year.

Beef exports for the first two months of 2019 reached 217,900 tonnes in volume and $817.2 million in value. These figures represent an increase of more than 10% in volume, but a slight fall in value compared to the same months in 2018.
