Change at the top for Tanac

Vegetable-based tannin producer Tanac has announced a change at the head of the company. Otávio Guimarães Decusati stepped down as managing director on February 1 after 45 years at the Rio Grande do Sul-based manufacturer of tanning products derived from mimosa.

In his place, two existing directors, Diorge Otávio Pagani and José Osmar Graff Junior, will lead Tanac jointly.

Until now, Diorge Otávio Pagani has been the company’s finance director but will now take charge of administration, finance, logistics and forestry management. He has worked at Tanac for 23 years.

For his part, José Osmar Graff Junior will take charge of the commercial side of the business and research and development. He has been at Tanac for 35 years.

Tanac said on making the announcement that it has been planning this change for two years.
