Industry 4.0 will dominate closing event of skills project

Skills4Smart TCLF is a four-year project that aims, with funding from Europe’s Erasmus+ programme, to “upskill and reskill” people working in the textiles, clothing, leather, and footwear (TCLF) sectors in many European countries.
Industry bodies COTANCE (for leather), CEC (for footwear) and Euratex (for textiles and clothing) are working together to co-ordinate the project, in which 21 private and public stakeholders from nine different countries have been involved.
At the final event in Brussels, the topic of the skills that the three industries need to develop to be able to embrace Industry 4.0 will dominate the discussion.
