Lanxess symposium adopts ‘Benign by design’ theme

According to World Leather technical editor, Mat Abbott, who attended the event, this year’s symposium covered an even broader spectrum of topics than those of previous years including, Chrome VI, the Leather Working Group’s Chemical Management Module, Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals, leather biodegradability, alongside presentations of work by the resident Lanxess representatives.
This year, the focus was clearly centred around the Benign by Design maxim, which will be the theme of the XXXV IULTCS International Congress, which takes place in Dresden from June 25-28.
