Gallery SHOES prepares for its fourth edition

This will be the fourth running of the event, which was launched following the demise of established footwear exhibition GDS. It is held at the Areal Böhler complex in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Ulrike Kähler, project director of Gallery SHOES and managing director of organiser IGEDO Company, said: “Gallery SHOES is well established on the market and a firm fixture on the international tradeshow calendar. It is a key date for the industry with a format that provides an inspiring blueprint.”
The organisers have said they expect around 9,800 professional visitors, with 25% of these drawn from outside of Germany.
Among the new features for the upcoming edition are an updated digital registration process and greater support facilities for international visitors. The Fashion Lifestyle Corner, which made its debut at the previous edition in September, will return.
