Meat and leather among the highlights for politician

Rounding up his time in the job, he said the reopening of the meat factory, Frigorífico Florida, in May 2018, eight years after closing its doors, was an important achievement because it has created 200 new jobs.
He said leather and wool production in the department had also been important parts of his focus throughout his time in office.
