SLTC reprints ‘Leather Technologists Pocket Book’

At AICC’s tenth Veneto regional convention in Arzignano on November 23, Emeritus professor of leather science at the University of Northampton, Anthony Covington, gave a presentation on behalf of the UK’s Society of Leather Technologists and Chemists (SLTC).

He explained that the SLTC has reprinted its ‘Leather Technologists Pocket Book’ and hundreds of copies of the reprinted book were distributed to delegates at the AICC event.

Professor Covington explained that the original version of the book was published as long ago as 1912 under the editorship of pioneering leather scientists Henry Richardson Procter; the book was called ‘Procter’s Pocket Book for Leather Chemists’.

SLTC published the latest version of the book in 1999.
