AICC holds successful tenth regional congress in Veneto

AICC co-ordinator for Veneto, Giancarlo Lovato, who is also research and development manager for leather chemicals at Corichem, said that, in earlier editions, an audience of 50 or 60 had attended, but that the event has grown in popularity to such an extent that, on this occasion, the association had booked, and filled, Arignano’s elegant Teatro Villa Mattarello as the venue.
Representatives of most leather chemical manufacturers in the tanning cluster around Arzignano and Chiampo took part, and a number of local high-school students also attended the talks.
Sponsors for the event included important local tanning groups such as Gruppo Danni, Gruppo Mastrotto and Montebello, tanning machinery manufacturers Erretre and Cartigliano, and leather chemicals manufacturers TFL, Corichem, GSC Group and Silvateam. The operator of the local common effluent treatment plant, Acque del Chiampo, was also a sponsor.
