Record Q3 for Marfrig

Packer and tanning group Marfrig has announced revenues for the third quarter of 2018 of $2.9 billion, an increase of 21% compared to the same priod last year and a record for the company. Earnings on this total reached more than $290 million.

Marfrig said on announcing the results that most of its growth has arisen from an increase in slaughter volumes in its South American business and from a decline in the value of the Brazilian real against the US dollar.
