24/10/2018
A new BBC series entitled ‘Made in Great Britain’ will air for the first time on October 26. The weekly episodes will see four craftspeople take on the challenge of learning the skills from six different crafts.
The craftspeople include a leather worker, a potter, a chef and a blacksmith. The crafts they will learn about are chocolate, cheese, steel, pottery, shoes and hats.
During the process, they will experience both early and modern-day methods of production for each area. The training in shoemaking takes place in Northampton, the UK’s footwear heartland.
